guillaume brisson-darveau

Guillaume Brisson-Darveau lives in Montreal and holds a Master's degree in Visual Arts from Laval University (Quebec, Canada)  He also began a Ph.D. program in Arts Studies and Practices last year at the UQAM (Montreal, Canada). His work was presented in Canada, Germany, Chile, Switzerland, Scotland, Spain and Japan.  Notably as part of the exhibition Dobles de proximidad at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (2018, Chile), Art Souterrain (2017, Canada), the NEoN Digital Arts Festival (2016, Scotland) and through his collaborations at nachtspeicher23 (2018, Germany), Diagonale (2013, Canada) and Arprim (2012, Canada). He was involved in numerous artist residencies in Canada and abroad, such as Atelier Mondial (Switzerland, 2018), Est-Nord-Est (2016, Canada) and the Banff Center (2015, Canada). His work has received support by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec in the last years.
